San Fernando Road Beautification & Multimodal Improvements, Glendale, CA
CL Survey conducted a comprehensive topographic field survey to document existing site conditions, including topography and planimetric features, along San Fernando Road as part of Phases I & II of the project. Phase I extended from Elk Avenue to Grandview Avenue, and Phase II continued from Grandview Avenue to Spazier Avenue. Survey efforts included retracing centerlines and rights-of-way, as well as collecting invert elevations for sewer manholes, storm drains, and catch basins.
The project was designed to rehabilitate existing pavement, enhance the public right-of-way, improve multimodal safety, upgrade sidewalks, and install new bus shelters. It also included aesthetic improvements such as new median islands with drought-tolerant landscaping.
