CL Surveying and Mapping is responsible for providing survey services including rough grading, final grading, infrastructure survey support and construction support for the Promenade Park which is part of the Promenade Project which is a $100 million comprehensive urban, pedestrian-oriented, mixed-use redevelopment project that includes residential and retail units along the cities Promenade from First Street to Third Street.  The projects under development include the Lennar condominiums between First Street and Broadway, adjacent condominiums by the Olson Company, the Insurance Exchange Building Lofts and the Hotel Esterel at Broadway and the Promenade, and rental apartments by Lyon Realty Advisors, Inc., between Broadway and Third Street.

Starbucks Development Project - San Diego, CA

Monitoring Well Survey - California Rehabilitation Center (Norco, CA)

Provided a topographic survey indicating the monitoring wells locations in reference to city established control.  The final product was a 11”x17” plot, showing the above information and the coordinates in reference to the NAD 83 (horizontal datum) and NGVD 29 (vertical datum) per Geotracker accuracies and requirements.

Area 1 Construction Design Survey (Westminster, CA)
 
CL Surveying & Mapping prepared the digital mapping in AutoCADD Civil 3D providing cross sections at 25 foot intervals and full site planimetry within the R/W on more than 6,000 L.F. of residential streets in the City of Westminster.  Working as a Subconsultant to the Design Engineer, all surface indications of utilities were located by field survey and identified on the mapping.  Driveways, walkways, curb, gutter, catch basins, utility poles and site features such as gates, mail boxes, columns, pillars, pilasters, walls, fences, etc. were all located by field survey and incorporated into the mapping.

Jurupa Sports Park Construction Survey (Riverside County, CA)
CL Surveying and Mapping is providing Construction Survey services for the development of a 60 acre sports park in the County of Riverside, a project funded by the Economic Development Agency.  We also provided the Base Mapping Survey for the design of the project.


City of Westminster Redevelopment Agency Parcel Map (Westminster, CA) 
CL Surveying and Mapping prepared the mapping and completed the boundary analysis for the preparation of the Preliminary and Final Parcel Map, contracting with the Redevelopment Agency in the City of Westminster. 

                                                                                                             

San Bernardino County Fleet Parking Lot (San Bernardino, CA)
Contracting with San Bernardino County, CL Surveying and Mapping prepared the mapping to be utilized by the Design consultant for the reconstruction of the existing Fleet Parking Lot for the County of San Bernardino.  Included in the mapping was the field location of existing buildings and fencing along the perimeter, location of existing parking and walkway striping, lighting, gates and drainage features.  Spot elevations were plotted at maximum 25 foot intervals and contours interpolated at one foot intervals. 

Florence Avenue Water Realignment Project (Tract 180 Water Company)
CL Surveying and Mapping was contracted as a sub-consultant to Steven Andrews Engineering, design engineer the realignment of approximately ¾ mile of underground pipeline.  In conjunction with this realignment, CL Surveying and Mapping prepared topographic mapping of approximately 1-mile of street cross sections at 25-foot intervals along Florence Avenue, from Atlantic Boulevard to Wilcox Avenue. 

Harbor Gateway ALTA Survey (Costa Mesa, CA)
Preparation of an ALTA Survey over the 23 Acre Business Park in the City of Costa Mesa. Utilizing an Aerial Survey for the base mapping, all surface indications of underground utilities were field survey located, easements plotted and clearances or encroachments were integrated into the digital aerial mapping.

Applied Materials ALTA Survey (Santa Clara, CA) 
Prepared an ALTA Survey of an 18 acre office park in Santa Clara, CA consisting of 5 buildings and over 1,000 surface parking spots.  As it was unlikely that the base mapping could be accomplished by aerial mapping methods due to the inclement weather patterns, and to accommodate the clients delivery date requirements, field survey crews data collected all field information and the ALTA Survey was completed and delivered to the client within twelve calendar days.                                                                                                           

Green Street Mixed Use Development (Pasadena, CA)
Prepared ALTA Survey for a partially constructed mixed use residential/retail project on Green Street in Pasadena for Wells Fargo Bank.  Of particular concern to the owner was the location of the subterranean parking exterior walls relative to Right of Way and Setback Lines.  We accomplished this task by traversing through the building, down a stairwell into the subterranean parking area and measuring the location of the interior walls of the parking area and dimensioning these points to the property /setback lines.

Van Ness Avenue Sewer Replacement (Compton, CA)
Provided construction staking for the installation of new Sanitary Sewer Line in the City of Compton.  Grades were calculated based upon existing manholes to remain and reference points were set at 25 foot intervals for the installation of the lines, cut sheets were provided to contractor.                                                                        

Beverly Glen Lot Line Adjustment / Record of Survey / Topographic Survey (Los Angeles, CA) Located in the canyon between Mulholland and Sunset in the Hollywood Hills Prepared all documentation based on record information for the submittal to the City of Los Angeles for the adjustment of property lines between two adjacent properties on Beverly Glen.  Concurrently, field survey was performed to establish the property lines and survey monuments were set at each corner / angle point of the boundary.  In conformance with the state and local statute, a Record of Survey was prepared and filed with Los Angeles County.  A topographic Survey of the property was also prepared and provided to the Client in order to plan future development of the site.

Master Planned Community ALTA’s (Oregon)
Working with the title company, buyer and the law firm, managed the acquisition of ALTA Surveys for four Master Planned Communities located in different regions of Oregon.  Utilizing Digital Imagery and GPS technology, the surveys were completed in conformance with ALTA Survey requirements within the Clients budget and on schedule.
